FRIDAY FORUM is designed for High School Students ages 14-18 years. Held on every Fridays during the summer months, high school age young adults can meet and discuss topics, concerns, questions amongst their peers.
This forum is held by Dr. Monique Aguirre who will also ask guest speakers to stop in to assist with the topics of the day. Friday Forum is about letting go, mixing it up, listening and learning from others. Meet new peers, focus on different cultural understanding, allow yourself to engage in conversations that you may not otherwise have.
Submissions – All submissions are due by Wednesday 11:00 p.m. EST and we encourage you to submit various topics, questions and concerns that you may want to address or get insight from peers. Email to: FridayForum@resilientcwps.com
Mission Statement – Friday Forum is a safe place to learn, listen and share. This is a forum that embodies communication, different view points, and growth through respect of culturally different backgrounds, ethnicities and genders, and economic status. Building a population of young learners to think outside of the box.
Company policies – .On Friday there are two sessions. There is no cursing, no disrespect, and no judging.
This is a great way to help you or your teen refocus during Quarantine~COVID-19. An 1 1/2 of socializing, listening engaging and meeting new peers is a summer of growth.
